Looking for a Marketing / Business CO-Founder

I looking for a partner/Co-Founder to help me grow our MVP product Gazel: https://gazel.app/

Gazel is an inventory and supply chain management tool for very small Amazon and Shopify e-commerce stores. We help sellers make more money, but keeping everything running on time. Big Business shouldn't be the only ones to have access to good inventory tools that are easy to use.

We have launched on the Amazon Partner Network and are working on Shopify now.

What are the skills required:

  • You are comfortable with hands on marketing: youtube videos, Instagram Tik- Tok, Linked In.
  • You know how to talk to people and infiltrate forums/communities, connect with people
  • You can break down complex ideas into easy to understand concepts
  • Minimum 15-20hours/week

What's in it for you:

  • 30% equity with a vesting period and 1 year cliff
  • Chance to change how small business manages their supply chain
  • Work with a veteran Silicon Valley software engineer
  • Getting in at the ground level
  • Autonomy to run things the way you see fit, results speak for themselves
  • Large input in the development of the product.

Nice to have:

  • Ideally you have experience with e-commerce either Amazon or Shopify
  • US Based, this is preferable as this is the first market
  • Experience in SaaS startups.

If any of this sounds interesting to you, or you have questions please message me. Looking forward to working with you already!

Cheers,
Ben

Hey Ben, I regularly help technical founders scale SaaS products while they keep 100% of the equity. I bring sales, marketing and UX expertise and help to get SaaS from 0 to $3k MRR in 6 months. DM me on Twitter if you're up for that.

No salary but a one year cliff. Meaning no compensation.

    1. 2

I haven't taken a salary for 1.5 years with this during prototype development. Also 30% of a company is a lot. 1 year cliff is basically so the person you migh potentially work with just doesn't walk off with X% of the company and not in it to win it. As you know with many things in life everything is negotiable.

Every project has risks, but I think this is a pretty calculated one.

LOL don't listen to that guy. Supply chain management tech is some of the fastest growing in any industry, there is literally overflowing demand for these kinds of products. You just need an investor willing to give you a shot. The opportunity you're offering is really good and quite generous!

I looked at the website, I think you will have customers even with just what you have (from a first glance at least, plus I know Germans don't do things half-way haha). One of my first mentors is an awesome guy from Strasbourg, he told me about his travels in Nuremberg, awesome place and Germans are very good in business.

I'm a technical dev in Montreal, also looking for a marketing cofounder for an e-commerce project. It's tough!
