Finally convinced on offering lifetime plans on Ruttl! ✅

For a long time, I was on the fence when it comes to "lifetime SaaS deals". I couldn't see through the entire picture and the benefits that come along with selling such type of long term product plans.

After our Appsumo launch had finished, many users who had missed the deal sent me mails and connected with me over DM's. They kept asking me if we could offer the lifetime deals separately or if there could be any exceptions.

I offered the deals to few people but quickly realized that all this demand was being generated mostly by users who plan to use the product extensively and would potentially become loyal supporters of Ruttl!

I noticed that this also was increasing my daily active users number. This created good stream for me to increase both users and revenue. So I finally got convinced to offer lifetime plans on Ruttl independently.

Since Black Friday was just around, my team and I quickly used the momentum of this week to launch our own Black Friday deals with insane discounts. And guess what? We successfully have sold bunch of the deals already that are making up revenue of over $5000 in a single day!

    We were grateful at Reel Unlimited to get the late deal Ruttl lifetime privilege plan. Since Ruttl is the primary way, we collaborate with clients. So keep working, and we hope to grow with you guys, one feedback at a time.

    Congrats Harsh! I've never run a lifetime deal for BirdSend - our ESP - but did not run a buy 1 year get 1 year free promo recently.

    how do you calculate your lifetime deal amount? i am so afraid of fixed cost for theses users exceeding new revenue.

      Generally you should include the costs to cover two years worth of the user's activity.
