I've just gone through a round of landing page reviews on the forum and noticed one big issue - the reader's not making it onto the page.
Describing what your product does and how it works is vital. And clarity there is everything. But if you want to improve conversion, you have to include the word 'you' more often. When you say 'you' the reader feels like what they're reading is from their own point of view. And that's mighty convincing.
It's why "10 Ways You Can Eat Mangos" is more clickable than "10 Ways I Eat Mangos"
If you have a landing page you'd like me to take a look at, send it over and I'll give you a 5-15 minute review detailing what can be improved on for conversion & clarity.
